At this year’s BlogHer Conference, held August 6-7, the Stouffer’s booth featured children’s author Todd Parr. At the booth, Parr greeted and met with attendees as he promoted his new book, Let’s Fix Dinner. Visitors to the booth received specially designed placemats by Parr, customized illustrations, and had the chance to win Let’s Fix Dinner prizes.
The new book, developed in conjunction with Stouffer’s, builds off the www.letsfixdinner.com website, which aims to bring families together for regular dinners. For every book sold, Stouffer’s is donating the net proceeds ($4 per book) to Habitat for Humanity, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $125,000 and a maximum donation of $200,000. The donation program will run through December 31, 2011 or sooner if determined by the sponsor. SupperTime Entertainment serves as Parr’s marketing and licensing partner.

Author Todd Parr Teams with Sesame Street For Animated Segment

Children’s author Todd Parr and Sesame Street’s creative team are collaborating to produce a one-minute segment for the show that will be designed to help children deal with their innate childhood fears. The animated segment will debut on the 41st season (2010-2011) of Sesame Street and will be written and designed by Parr.
Parr is known for taking potentially complex subject matter and making it kid-friendly. His title, The Peace Book, explains to children the meaning and some aspects of world peace, and his most recent title, The Earth Book, deals with the environment and ecology.
Parr has recently announced he has teamed with Stouffer’s to release a limited-edition children’s book entitled Let’s Fix Dinner. The book, published by SupperTime Entertainment (Parr’s worldwide marketing/licensing partner), will be released this August.

Stouffer’s Teams with Author for Let’s Fix Dinner Book

Stouffer’s has teamed up with author and illustrator Todd Parr for a new children’s book called Let’s Fix Dinner. Kids will be drawn to the colorful pages and easy-to-read text, while the book’s message of the many benefits of a family dinner may resonate with parents.
Additionally, for every book purchased, Stouffer’s will donate the net proceeds, $4 per book, to Habitat for Humanity, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $125,000, up to a maximum donation of $200,000.
