Cookie Jar’s licensing division, Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (CPLG), has been appointed as the exclusive international licensing agent for tween girl fashion brand Bobby Jack. CPLG will create and oversee a licensing program for the brand that will expand art programs and exclusive designs for partners and retailers, as well as introduce new categories such as HBA, fashion accessories, toys, games, and publishing.

CPLG will also create a licensing program to introduce the brand to other markets around the world, and Cookie Jar’s digital media division will aim to increase Bobby Jack’s website traffic by offering new content and downloads.

Cookie Jar Entertainment has appointed Famoso as the exclusive toy licensee for Caillou. The deal is for Mexico. Famoso’s range of products includes 36cm figures, bath toys, vehicles, toy trains, dolls, and a toy farm. The products are now available at major retail stores throughout Mexico such as Soriana, Jugetron, Liverpool, and Palacio de Hierro, as well as specialty stores.

Jaroo.com, a new website that offers free videos of current and classic kids television programming and movies, has launched. The website will initially feature more than 50 TV shows with more than 500 episodes available, including Inspector Gadget, Johnny Test, Super Mario Bros., Zelda, The Adventures of Paddington Bear, and an exclusive U.S. premiere of Mona the Vampire. New episodes are expected to be added daily.

Programming found on Jaroo.com will initially come from Cookie Jar Entertainment’s library, but the website plans to add programming from other television distributors and produce original content.

Cookie Jar Group has been named the exclusive global licensing agent for the Harlem Globetrotters. Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (CPLG), Cookie Jar’s licensing division, will create and oversee a multi-tiered licensing program featuring vintage apparel, collectibles, sporting goods, trading cards, and interactive games. The Globetrotters will also return to animated television for the first time in 30 years as Cookie Jar Entertainment develops an animated kids’ television program based on the brand.

The Harlem Globetrotters have been entertaining the masses with their unique style of basketball for over 80 years. Recently, The Harlem Globetrotters have appeared on primetime television shows such as Hell’s Kitchen, John & Kate Plus 8, The Bachelorette, and The Amazing Race.
